The love story of Amanda and Matthew began when they met through mutual friends in Greensboro, North Carolina. Matthew lived in Charlotte for the first 3 months they were dating and would travel the distance to take her out on dates. It only took one month for Matthew to confess his love for Amanda while they took their first vacation together to Walt Disney World. When they returned home Amanda knew she was going to marry him, she was going to marry her Prince Charming in Disney. On June 13, 2015 they arrived at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort for summer vacation when Matthew handed Amanda a large box to open on the sand. As she opened it, she discovered a glass slipper engraved "Will you Marry Me”? He knelt down on one knee, revealed a beautiful engagement ring and of course she said “YES”! The Cinderella coach used in the live action film Cinderella was on display inside Hollywood Studios park where they recaptured their engagement. Amanda and Matthew said "I Do" on April 9, 2017 in the happiest place on earth. The ceremony took place at Disney's Wedding Pavilion followed by the reception at Disney’s Grand Floridian ballroom. Mickey and Minnie made a guest appearance for some cake and celebration. They truly felt like a prince and princess and have lived Happily Ever After!
The love story between Emily and Nick started all the way back in 2005 when they were attending Grimsley High School. Emily was a freshman and Nick was a junior, but their paths crossed paths day as their math classes were across from each other. Emily immediately noticed Nick because he was always laughing and cracking jokes before their classes started. Eventually, they began talking and Nick would leave notes for her in her math class. After a few weeks of “talking”, they decided to go on their first date. They ended up dating from 2005-2010 through high school and part of college at Appalachian State University together until they parted ways. As fate would have it, they were brought back together in 2015 when Emily and Nick ended up at the same tailor in Greensboro, NC. Over glasses of wine, Emily & Nick knew they were meant to be together and the rest is history, as they say! Nick proposed to Emily at Greensboro Science Center (with the help of some penguins!) on December 9, 2016 and they married at Proximity Hotel on October 28, 2017!
